Engine and Performance

All 2016 Nissan Quest models are powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that delivers 260 HP at 240 lb-ft torque and they all come with a CVT and front-wheel drive. The Quest can tow 3,500 pounds.

For an engine that can reach 60 mph in about 8.5 seconds, the Quest comes with good fuel economy - 23 mpg combined, 20 for city traffic and 27 for the road.

Safety Features For Stable, Stress-Free Drives

The Quest looks just as good on the inside as it does on the outside, with ample functionality and great tech solutions that make it very safe to drive. Stability and traction control, antilock brakes, multiple airbags, including side curtain airbags and active head restraints for the front seats, are standard on all models and all variants except the entry-level S. Blind spot warning, a 360-degree camera system, cross traffic alert and parking sensors are standard on the top-dog Platinum

The new Quest comes in 4 trim variants, S, SV, SL and Platinum, all of them 4-door 7-seaters. The entry-level S version looks very convincing with its 16-inch steel wheels and sleek body and it is very well-equipped, too, tire pressure monitoring, keyless entry and push-button ignition, cruise control, dual-zone air conditioning, a height-adjustable seat for the driver, a second and third row of seats that not only reclines, but slides as well, the third throw featuring a 60/40 split, a telescoped and tilting steering wheel and a superb, four-speaker audio system with auxiliary jack and a CD player being all parts of the standard equipment.

The SV comes next, with all the qualities of the S version, plus alloy wheels, power doors, fog lamps, three-zone climate control, roof rails, audio controls on the steering wheel, superior connectivity and a six-speaker audio. The SL looks even more dramatic with its 18-inch wheels and it also comes with automatic headlights, heated mirrors and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.

The Platinum includes everything the previous versions has to offer and throws in safety features such as parking sensors for the front and the rear, blind spot warning, rear cross traffic alert, navigation and a 13-speaker audio from Bose. The new Quest offers 108 cubic feet of cargo space total.
